Just a quick update of progress.
Things are going pretty well with lots of work behind the scenes at the moment.
Planning permission has been granted for the project and our application to Forestry Commission has also been successful. We understand that the licence from Scottish Environmental Protection Agency will also be granted shortly.
Because of restrictions on the grid system we have been informed that we cannot export more than 50kW of power rather than the 400kW we want to. However we are campaigning hard to get this changed and in early August we have a meeting to discuss the problem with SSE, National Grid and Ofgem. If we are successful, we will proceed with tendering for the electrical connection work, and for the design and project management for the system and we will open discussions with finance providers. Wish us luck!
